Hotel Mar Azul & Surf - Suances

The staff is friendly. the hotel is perfectly clean. the room is cheap and clean. There is a variety of goodies for breakfast. the location is magnificent and great, in the middle of the city. It is not very far from Slipstream Sculpture. It is adjacent to the Ocean and the Santander ferry.

The hotel was nice, with particularly good location in the middle of the city. A sofa bed, central heating, and a work desk available in the triple room. Location very close to the Ocean and beaches.

Had central heating, a work desk, and a flat-screen TV with satellite channels in my guest room. There was a bidet, a plus for me.

The staff were a bit rude, didn't expect that coming.

The location of this place was fantastic, centrally located near Santander, the beach, and the ferry.

I chose the Mar Azul & Surf hotel because I really wanted to visit Playa de La Concha. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of facilities and services offered by the hotel. In particular, I enjoyed ending the day with a drink at the bar/lounge.

The hotel's decoration was absolutely charming and had a lovely vintage touch. The general areas were beautifully maintained, providing a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. the hotel's accessibility for senior people was excellent, making it easy for us to move around without any issues.

I would have asked for more assistance from the children working there to ensure a truly enjoyable vacation for senior people.

Located close to a lovely beach, this hotel enjoys a convenient location for those arriving on the Santander ferry. the staff is friendly and accommodating, and the hotel offers clean and comfortable rooms at a good price. Guests can also take advantage of the complimentary parking, and some rooms offer nice views of the surrounding area.

On one occasion outside guests were allowed in the bar and were quite noisy, which could disturb guests in nearby rooms.

The hotel had a great location, close to the beach and other interesting sites to visit. The staff was also very friendly and helpful. One of the perks of the hotel was that they had a great view from the balcony of the room.

The hotel was not well maintained. The rooms were not cleaned properly with damp smelling sheets on the beds. The noise levels from outside guests at the bar were unbearable at times, we couldn't properly enjoy our stay as we were constantly disturbed. Breakfast quality was poor, with the fruit offered being old and no attempt was made to replenish them. We feel like this hotel is not worth it and we wouldn't recommend it to others as we left disappointed.
